What To Do When You're Too Damn High

Whether you’re a rookie or an experienced veteran, many weed enthusiasts have been there. Despite how much you loved your friend’s famous weed brownie, you only ate a few bites. The last hit of that dank dab was enough to send you over the edge, either. You might have been hit back by the bong.

In any case, it happened, and now you’re freaking out inside your head. Either you’ve been high for a long time or you’re already too high. The hours seem to stretch into days, and you’re ready to be on your way back home.

Let’s start with the basics. It’s possible that your mind is entering the paranoid zone if you are high right now. But don’t worry, everything will be fine. Taking too much THC has never caused death. Just stay calm!

To counteract the unpleasant effects of being too damn high, fellow potheads from Homegrown Cannabis Co. have discovered a number of remedies. Take some water and sit on the couch, or try one of these methods:

You Can Calm Down With CBD

You probably feel anxious if you’re too high or have been high too long. While you’re sobering up, CBD can calm your nerves by counteracting and balancing THC’s psychoactive effects. Visit https://homegrowncannabisco.com/high-thc-seed to learn more.

Lemon Oil’s calming scent

Utilize the power of scent to help you get back to reality after being in a ganja cloud. You can reconnect with reality and balance your high with concentrated lemon oil, as it has both energizing and grounding effects while having anti-anxiety properties.

Peppercorn and its mystic powers

There’s some science to support this old-school trick: beta-caryophyllene, found in peppercorns, reduces anxiety due to high THC levels. You can sniff the peppercorns (whole, not ground) or if your tongue is feeling brave, you can chew on them.

Don’t be a couch potato

You can find something to do if you look around. If you feel like playing a video game, do it. Or perhaps you’ve noticed the dishes piling up: get to them as soon as you can! Time will pass more quickly and order will be brought to what otherwise feels like chaos when you are productive and focused.

Enjoy delicious food and beverages

Similar to having too much to drink, you can get over the discomfort of it by hydrating and eating. Drink plain water or a drink with electrolytes and eat something that is high in fat. But don’t overdrink, as this will flush out your body’s nutritional resources.

Find a 420-friendly partner

When you feel as though you are not returning from outer space, nothing is more frustrating than being totally alone. You’re too damn high, so call a friend you can trust. It could be a hug, a laugh, or even verbal comforting if you’re able to be with someone in person. Be mindful of people who are not 420-friendly.

Meeting to discuss safety

Remember that you are experiencing a temporary situation. You will eventually come down from the high, and your heart won’t stop. Take a deep breath and make sure you are safe.

While these strategies can be helpful if you’re too damn high, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It may just be a matter of waiting until the weed lifts and you return to your normal self.

Driving, operating heavy machinery, or tackling any big problems while high is not recommended. Because you’re too damn high, take a sick day if you’re worried about work.
